Why did Petras think he was a girl?
1. His parents raised him as a girl and let him believe he was. By his own claims in this interview they never said to him “you are a boy” or “you are our son”
2. Petras was asked if there was a question he knew he was a girl? “I always knew. I always wanted pink dresses and barbies. I have never lived as a boy”.
The issue for poor, confused Petras is boy’s clothing, having female friends, wearing a dress, etc.
CLOTHES DO NOT MAKE YOUR GENDER. Please if you are a parent DO NOT do this to your kids.
There is nothing wrong with a young boy or a man wearing whatever he wants, but this doesn’t make him a girl! Clothes are arbitrary, as are barbies, etc.
Just let kids be kids damn it!
